I'm a Computer Science M.Sc. graduate from the University of Pisa and a former research fellow at the HIIS Laboratory of the Institute of Information Science and Technologies "A. Faedo" of the National Research Council. During my tenure, I specialized in Human-Computer Interaction, with a particular focus on improving Web Accessibility and Usability.
My innovative work in developing automatic accessibility validators earned me the Etic Prize, jointly awarded by the Italian Association for Informatics and Automatic Computing (AICA) and Rotary International.
The accessibility validator I developed, MAUVE, has been adopted as the official tool for evaluating the accessibility of websites belonging to Italian public administrations.
I also had the opportunity to contribute to the development of SPID, one of Italy's official digital identity frameworks, during my time at the Agency for Digital Italy.
As an independent researcher today, I continue to explore the fields of cybersecurity, web accessibility, and usability. I'm deeply passionate about sharing my knowledge and insights, and I frequently participate as a speaker at various conferences.
